Matchplay Update – Thursday 31 March Brad Moules will play Sam Costa, and Sean Underwood will play Chris Austin in tomorrow&aposs Men&aposs semi finals of the Golf SA Amateur Championship, while in the Women&aposs draw Emma Ash will play Sarah King and Elysia Yap will play Jenny Lee. In perfect conditions at Glenelg Golf Club, this afternoon&aposs men&aposs quarter finals produced some extremely tight contests, with Brad Moules defeating Charles Shaw 1up and Chris Austin keeping his hopes of a third SA Amateur title alive with a hard fought 2&1 win over Alex Hendrick. The tightest match of the afternoon rounds came via an intriguing contest between Sean Underwood and Anthony Murdaca, with the New South Welshman Underwood finally taking the contest on the 19th hole. In the morning&aposs Women&aposs quarter finals, Elysia Yap caused a boil over with her final victory over an ailing Ebony Heard while Medal winner Emma Ash was again impressive in defeating Jo Charlton 3&1. The summer&aposs standout junior player Jenny Lee again showed maturity beyond her years in accounting for Grace Lennon on the second additional hole.
