SA Boys State Team play against local Pros

The SA Junior Boys State team have had their last hit out at Links Lady Bay the venue of the Junior Australian Boys Interstate Teams Matches.

The junior team were pitted against a collection of Senior Men Amateurs and local well known Pro's including Peter Cooke and Chris Brown.

Cooke who was selected for the South Australian Men’s State Team from 2002-2007, Captained the side in 2006 before turning professional in 2008.

While Chris Brown, represented South Australia from 2007-2012 and Captained the Men’s Team in his last year as an Amateur in 2013.

The competitive session arranged by Junior Team Coach Adrian Wickstein, was played over 18 holes of Match Play and featured 7 matches.

Whilst the juniors competed well, the ‘seniors’ proved a little too strong.

All junior players were extremely appreciative of the invited group who gave up their time and also provided valuable course management tips to the juniors on the day.
