The Clare Golf Club will be hosting the golf component of the SA Masters Games in the following format:
Wednesday 25th – 9-hole Twilight (4 pm hit off) free hit/ no medals, (drinks and BBQ available), come and see the course.
Thursday 26th– Stableford competition, men’s and ladies comp.
Friday 27th– Stableford competition, men’s and ladies comp. Overall winner for Thursday and Friday (depending on numbers).
Saturday 28th– Stroke competition, men’s and ladies comp.
Sunday 29th – Stroke competition, men’s and ladies comp.

Well, it’s not long to go now till the Mr Mick SA Masters Games commences here in Clare, and the whole town is getting very excited.
Bookings have already been strong, particularly for the Golf and preparations are well under way to ensure that all visitors and participants will have a very memorable experience.
Along with the opportunity to compete for Gold , Silver or Bronze medals in your age group, we are pleased to offer some great incentives along the way, We have Mid North Motor Company offering $500 rebate on a car purchase for a Hole in one on the 12th,(some conditions apply ) Pikes Wines continue to offer a dozen of their great wine for an ace on our signature hole, the 7th, Taylors wines will award a Magnificent Wine Celebration pack for an ace on 14 and we are Pleased to announce a $2500 cash prize for every hole in one on the ninth hole.
There are also local wine prizes for Men’s and Ladies Nearest the pin each day on the four par threes.
A participants march from the town oval to the main street will kick off the Street party on the Thursday evening, where the Master Mile, race will be run in full view of all, Then it’s off to an official dinner for those craving some formality on Friday night and another party available at the oval on Saturday night with Band and meals. The closing ceremony will be held Sunday Afternoon, for those who have completed their sports and bring a big week of activity to an end
The Golf Club will be catering for all players breakfast needs each day with breakfast available along with lunch orders being taken on arrival each day for those requiring lunch, Full bar and snack facilities will available at locations around the course. The whole Clare Golf Club has been working hard to ensure the facilities are top class and the recent rains have been exceptionally well received and the course is currently in spectacular condition.
We would strongly recommend all golfers think seriously about joining us over these 4 days of golfing, partying and touring the beautiful Clare Valley.
