Queenslander and wheelchair golfer Dave Sawtell has set another record. Sawtell, RE/Max World Long Drive Championship Australia&aposs&aposs only wheelchair competitor, was ready to try and beat the Guinness World Record for the longest one handed drive from a wheelchair. The previous record stood at 113.55m. Sawtell took on the challenge and beat it with a measurement of 143.7m. Gold Creek Country Club put on a great day with a brand new tee area near the clubhouse to kick off the 2011 season.
