Welcome to National Volunteer Week, an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers.
Every week in every golf club you will find volunteers contributing to a diverse array of activities; boards and committees, honorary legal support, special building and course projects, social events, communications, club history and archives, tee time management and golf administration, marshalling and scoring, course working groups, pennant team management, junior instruction, driving, flower displays, cleaning, replacing of stock,….. the list goes on and on.
The work of our golf volunteers is vital to the efficient functioning of clubs and the events that club’s run.
