Schweppes win Golf SA Corporate Day

Steve O&aposReilly & Chris Sims (Schweppes) with Rory Bourke (Vic) Golf SA thanks all players who participated in the Golf SA Corporate Day held on Wednesday 11 April. Played the day prior to South Australia s leading Amateur Golf Championships; the combined Golf SA Men’sAmateur Classic and Women’s Rene Erichsen Salver, corporate Teams of three were grouped alongside Australia s elite Amateur golfers over 18-holes. The Glenelg Golf Club presented its course in amazing condition with corporate players having the rare opportunity to play off the Black Championship tees. Thank you to Glenelg General Manager David Brand and his team for their valued support of the event. Big winners on the day were the Schweppes Team of Chris Sims, Josh Cakebread and Steve O Reilly, with Victorian Rory Bourke anchoring the side. They finished on 86 points in the Team Stableford Competition where the best two scores per hole were recorded. The Kelly & Co Lawyers Team lead by Daniel Bringolf (VIC) and included Stuart Price (Kelly & Co), Alan Morrison (SportsMed SA) and Donald McGurk (Codan Limited) were runners up on 85 points. NTP Winners were: 3rd Hole Chris Sims (Schweppes), 11th Josh Cakebread (Schweppes), 14th Hole Nuala Oads (Winter & Co Chartered Accountants), 16th Hole Alan Morrison (SportsMed SA). Longest Drive 18th Hole: Stuart Price (Kelly & Co Lawyers). A big thank you to Bret Thur from Srixon who supplied products to all players and prizes to winners, along with Chris Sims from Schweppes and Mark Colley and Tim Ginever from The Little Heroes Foundation which the event was in support of.
