Scott among Australia’s most recalled athletes

d Number 1 golfer Adam Scott sits in the top four most recalled Australian athletes by the wider community. 

In the 2013 Australian Sporting Landscape – Golf Consumer Report produced by Repucom for the Australian Sports Commission, Scott polled in the top four among more than 10,000 survey respondents.

Leading the list was Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke, followed by tennis player Lleyton Hewitt and former Formula 1 driver Mark Webber.

Scott's 'recall factor' was ahead of the likes of Samantha Stosur, Tim Cahill and Cadel Evans.

Respondents were asked to name their favourite current Australian sportsperson.

Scott has recored top 10 finishes in each of his last three events including his win at the Crowne Plaza Invitational in Texas. He'll next play at The Open Championship at Royal Liverpool at Hoylake in two weeks' time.
