After the first round of play at the Jockey Club Rosario, Matt Griffen and I both shot three-under par 69&aposs to be at 138, six-under under par overall and nine shots ahead of Argentina. Despite the issues of the last few days (not having clubs for the practice round and only getting to play eight holes in the am am because of a thunder storm), we are very happy with the scores we have recorded. The course is good but it is also very tight with small greens. They are not that fast though, so you can have a go at your putts. My round was a round of two halves as I was four-under through eight holes, but then I struggled a bit coming home. Matt&aposs started slowly but he finished well coming home without mistakes to also finish with a 69. Going into day two we are equal leaders in the individual and lead the teams by some distance. Hopefully we can continue the good form tomorow with late tee times, Scott
