World No. 2 Adam Scott has confirmed his participation in three of the summer's big Australian tournaments.
Scott, who last week said he would play in the Emirates Australian Open at The Australian from 27 November, today announced he would also defend his titles at the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Pines and the Australian Masters at Metropolitan.
The Queenslander won both the PGA and the Masters last year and came within a breath of taking out the so-called triple crown of Australian golf when he was overhauled at the 72nd hole by Rory McIlroy in the Australian Open at Royal Sydney last year.
The Masters is at Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne from 20 November. The PGA is at Royal Pines from 11-14 December.
Scott said in a prepared statement: "It was an amazing four weeks playing in Australia last year, the support I received was incredible and I am really looking forward to returning this year. Having almost won the 'triple crown' last year, I am looking forward to seeing if I can go one better this year.''
Australia's top-ranked player finished tied-15th at the Barclays Championship in New Jersey today, paying dearly for a disappointing third round.
He is one of eight Australians who have progressed to the Deutschebank Championship at TPC Boston this week, the second of the four PGA Tour playoff events.
