Tiger Woods won the 17th World Golf Championships event of his career after taking out the Cadillac Championship in Florida on Sunday as Rory McIlroy returned to form and Australian Adam Scott produced a big finish. Fourteen-time major winner Woods, however, shot a one-under 71 on the final day at Doral to end the tournament on 19 under and claim his seventh Cadillac Championship. The victory is Woods&apos 76th on the PGA Tour and sees him move to within six of Sam Snead&aposs all-time record of 82 tour wins. Fellow American Steve Stricker finished two shots off the pace in second after he managed a four-under-par 68 in his final round, which included five birdies. Australian Scott produced a blistering performance to end the tournament tied in third on 14 under alongside Sergio Garcia, Phil Mickelson and Graeme McDowell. The 32-year-old shot the best round of the week, a bogey-free 64, firing in four birdies on both sides of the course. Keegan Bradley completed his week with a one-under-par round of 71 to end in outright seventh on 12 under. World number one McIlroy ended on a high note, returning to form after a dreadful start to 2013, the Northern Irishman carding a final-day 65 to finish at 10 under overall. McIlroy rolled in an eagle and five birdies in a bogey-free round that led him into a tie for eighth place with Justin Rose, Peter Hanson and Michael Thompson. Australian John Senden was further down the leaderboard, however, after posting a two-over 74 in his final round to finish at six under overall. Senden&aposs round may have got off to a bright start with a birdie but three consecutive bogeys in the front nine put a dampener on his round and he never fully recovered. He still finished four strokes ahead of compatriot Jason Day, who posted a one-under 71 on Sunday, while Geoff Ogilvy (two over for the tournament) and Marcus Fraser (seven over) were a long way off the pace.
