Scott to celebrate at home in summer

Adam Scott will resist the temptation to come home and celebrate his Masters victory and stick to his PGA Tour schedule. The Queenslander is making just his sixth start for the year this week at The PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Florida but said he would wait until the Australian summer golf season to return. “I think it will be a fun trip home but I just knew if I went now I might never come back,” Scott told Australian Associated Press reporter Ben Everill. “As much as I want to go and see my family and friends and celebrate with everyone in the country I will wait until the end of the year. Hopefully by then there is even more to celebrate,” Scott said. Scott has added Jack Nicklaus&aposs Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village in Ohio to his schedule at the end of May before the U.S Open in June. The Presidents Cup, where Scott is expected to play a key role for the International Team, will be played at Muirfield Village in October.
