Scrivener among eight to qualify

Eight players have made their way into the final field for this year&aposs Australian Open at New South Wales Golf Club. At New Brighton Golf Club, Rudi Bezuidenhout finished with a round of 68 to qualify alongside European Challenge Tour player Adam Wilcox and NSW amateur Jake Oh who both shot rounds of 69. At Terrey Hills, former Oklahoma Christian University student Rhien Gibson qualified with a round of 68- a score shared with European Challenge Tour member David Bransdon. Michael Etherington finished with a round of 69 to also make the field. At Liverpool Golf Club, Kurt Carlson shot the best qualifying round of the day with a 67. AIS/Golf Australia National Squad member and amateur Jason Scrivener fired his way into the final field with a round of 68.
