Scrivener fifth at Scratch Players

AIS and Golf Australia National Squad member Jason Scrivener is in fifth position after the third round of the rain-affected Scratch Players Championship at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma. Scrivener began his campaign with an opening round even par 70 before rounds of 67 (-3) and 68 (-2) boosted him to 5-under par and into outright fifth. Victorian Jin Jeong opened with a round of 73 but has fought back to even par after rounds of 68 and 69 to sit in a share of 14th place. AIS/GA National Squad member Brendan Smith, like Scrivener, opened with a first round 70 but rounds of 72 and 69 sees him at 1-over par in a tie for 22nd. Victorian Luke Bleumink is at 3-over par while fellow Victorian Daniel Beckmann and Western Australian Matt Jager have endured difficult rounds in the inclement weather.
