The Country District Pennant Competition partnered by MGA Insurance Brokers has been won by the South East District.
Played over the weekend 15-16 October at the Barmera Golf Club, each of the eight Golf SA Country Districts selected a mixed representative team of eight players to compete to determine the District Champions.
The seeding of each District Team was determined by their placing in the Combined Teams Total table from the previous year, which saw S/E, Southern, Mid North and Yorke Peninsula drawn in pool A and Murraylands, Northern, Eyre and Riverland drawn to play each other once, in pool B.
South East proved too strong overall wining its three pool A matches to finish top of the ladder with 3 wins and 20.5 matches, two matches ahead of Riverland who were undefeated in their pool. Third place went to Murraylands with two wins.
