South Korean Jiyai Shin and Japan&aposs Ayako Uehara share the lead after the opening round of the Mizuno Classic. The pair each shot four-under 68s on Friday at the Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club to hold a one-stroke advantage at the LPGA tournament. World No.7 Shin&aposs round included five birdies and a bogey as she looks to add a second title here to the one she won in 2010. Defending champion Momoko Ueda is tied for third with five other players – American Angela Stanford, China&aposs Shanshan Feng, Spaniard Beatriz Recari, South Korean Na Yeon Choi and countrywoman Maiko Wakabayashi – at three-under. Ten players – including Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship runner-up Inbee Park – are a stroke further back at two-under. World No.1 Yani Tseng, who has not won a title since the Kia Classic in March, carded a one-under 71 to sit in a share of 19th. Australian Karrie Webb started well with two birdies on the front nine but cancelled them out with two bogeys on the run home to finish at even par for the day.
