Simpson, Flint in the hunt

Gary Simpson and Gavin Flint are the best placed Australians going into the final round of the Beijing Open in China. Both players sit at four-under-par to be tied for ninth place, eight shots behind Japan&aposs Hiroyuki Fujita. However, Simpson will be the more disappointed of the two after five bogeys on his way to a three-over par round blew any chance of being in contention going into the final day. Flint, meanwhile shot five birdies on his way to a three-under par round to shoot up the leaderboard. Tony Carolan slipped further down the leaderboard with a 75, while Scott Hend had a disastrous day, shooting three double-bogeys to record a disappointing six-over 78. Fujita will be hard to stop as he enjoys a six-stroke lead going into the final round on Sunday. Thailand&aposs Chinnarat Phadungsil and Japan&aposs Shinichi Yokota are tied for second place at six-under par.
