Smith needs low round at Olympia Fields

Queensland's Sarah Jane Smith is the leading Australian as the group of Aussies fell from contention at the women's second major of the season, the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Olympia Fields near Chicago today.

Smith is tied-17th, four-under overall, and six shots from the lead through three rounds after carding a one-over par 72 today. She would need to go low at Olympia Fields tomorrow to have a chance.

Su Oh (tied-44th), Katherine Kirk (48th) and  Minjee Lee (58th) are out of contention.

South Korea's Chella Choi continues to lead along with American Danielle Kang at 10-under par.
