National Squad member and Australian Amateur medallist Cameron Smith finished in a tie for fourth at the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship at the City Golf Club in Toowoomba. Smith finished at 8-under par in the rain shortened 54 hole event with rounds of 68, 66 and 68. He was tied with Terry Pilkadaris, Ryan Haller, Hamish Robertson, Paul Hayden and Rohan Blizard. Fellow National Squad member Bryden Macpherson finished in a tie for 27th at 3-under par. After 14 years playing on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Andrew Tschudin claimed the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship, his first Australian title.
