On the June long weekend Far South Coast Territory Manager Samantha Whittle headed to the Milton Scarecrow Festival with the snag suit to see if she could raise some funds for the Mollymook Junior Golfers.
With help from local juniors Nick Heath (in the snag suit), Tom Punnett and Ryan Clugston, the grounds of the Milton Court House were transformed into a target zone to promote junior golf. Lots of participants took the opportunity to hit balls at various targets including the walking human target (Nick Heath). Sam received some great feed back about the event and participants seemed to thoroughly enjoyed the day.
"The snag suit was really popular at the festival and it was good to get the public involved. The juniors who came to help were awesome and did a great job in promoting junior golf. Hopefully we can attarct more kids in the area to the game," Sam said.
