Spectator Advice

ACCESS TO THE COURSE:

Course access is available to all patrons with a general admission ticket. Patrons are to stay outside the ropes and follow the marshals' instructions when crossing the fairways at the designated crossing points. Pass-outs are not available. Download the course map here.

MOBILE PHONES:

Please ensure, while out on course, that your phone is switched to silent as the use of mobile phones on course can distract the players.
 

STORAGE & BAGS:

There are no storage and/or bag storage facilities on the premises and fans/players are advised not to bring bags any bigger than a small back pack. Please make alternative arrangements prior to arriving.
 

DISABLED ACCESS:

Disability access is available at the venue. Paths and access exist around the 18th hole for anyone with a disability and their carer. The pathway around the clubhouse is slightly undulating; however wheelchair access to the Tournament Village adjacent to the 18th hole and practice areas is available.
 

GATE OPENING/CLOSING TIMES:

Tuesday and Wednesday: (Gates open at 6:30am and will close approximately half an hour after play concludes).

Thursday to Sunday: (Gates open at 6:30am and will close approximately half an hour after play concludes).

 

CATERING ON COURSE:

There will be catering available in the Championship Village, as well as various roaming outlets on course near and around the clubhouse.
 

EVENT MERCHANDISE:

Official Emirates Australian Open merchandise will be sold in the Crest Link merchandise marquee located in the vicinity of the Championship Village.
 

GRANDSTAND:

Grandstand seating is free to the public and is advised to all patrons that is a "first in, best dressed" basis on gaining a seat.

ELECTRONIC SUPER SCREENS:

The screens will be located in the Championship Village to keep all spectators up to date.

FIRST AID:

St John Ambulance personnel are located in the Championship Village.

INFORMATION BOOTH:

The information booth is located in the Championship Village. Staff will be able to provide patrons with the daily draw sheet and offer assistance with general enquiries.

DAILY DRAW SHEETS:

The daily draw sheet will be made available at the entrance of the course and the information booth located in the Championship Village.

ATM:

ATM’s will be available in the vicinity of the Championship Village.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

A golf tournament can still continue in raining conditions. If the weather is potentially dangerous to players and patrons, a siren will sound and play will be suspended. If the siren sounds, patrons are advised to seek shelter immediately and avoid; open areas, hill top and other high places, isolated trees, golf carts, grandstands, telephone poles, metal or wire fences, metal stakes and TV towers.

LOST AND FOUND:

Lost property can be handed in and collected from the information booth.

CAMERAS / DIGITAL / VIDEO CAMERAS:

Cameras of all types, are strictly prohibited during play. Only those with official media accreditation are able to take photographs or videos.

BANNED ITEMS:

Audio or video equipment, cameras, televisions, radios or any noise producing devices, large eskies or milk crates or step ladders, signs, posters or banners, firearms, weapons or explosives etc, alcoholic beverages or glass bottles, bicycles, pets.
