Australian rookies Jessica Speechley and Courtney Massey have finished 9th and T10 respectively at the LPGA Symetra Tour’s Credit Union Classic presented by Wegmans, Sunday.

American Victoria Elizabeth claimed her first win in three years on the LPGA’s development Tour in firing rounds of 68, 65 & 68 for a three round 12 under total of 201. She finished two shots clear of Thailand’s Thidapa Suwannapura and Canadian Rebecca Lee-Bentham.

For Speechley, her 9th place finish was her best in five starts on the Symetra Tour in 2012. The 23 year, old who shot a final round 7 under 65 to finish runner-up at the 2012 ISPS Handa New Zealand Women’s Open, shot rounds of 66,73 & 69 to finish at 5 under for the tournament.

Massey continued her consistent form in recording her 3rd top ten finish in six starts, posting 66,70 & 73 to be at 4 under total. She breaks in to the top 30 (29th) on the Symetra Tour Money List as players aim to secure LPGA playing status via the top ten at the end of the season.

Of the other Australians in the field, Julia Boland tied for 26th at event par; Emma DeGroot and Kristie Smith were a shot further back at T34; Inhong Lim T46, whilst Cathryn Bristow and Stephanie Na both missed the cut.
