The B-Grade nett event is led by Woodends Loretta Matthews after a round of 77. Beechworths Coral Ward sits second overnight after a round of 78. Rosebud local Nola Geary is setting the pace in the B-Grade gross event after a round of 96.
The A-grade nett event is led by Victoria’s Stephanie Wearne who recorded the low nett round of the day, a fine 74 to lead by five shots. Wearne also leads the gross event after round one having been the only player ‘to break 80’ with a round of 79.
