Stacey Keating blog: To be sure, to be sure in Ireland

It&aposs one of my favourite places, Ireland! Well maybe not the weather but the golf courses and the people. Everyone is so friendly, and they couldn’t be more helpful. Actually reminds me of home a little. We were playing at Killeen Castle, which is where the Solheim Cup was played last year. What a great course – I love it! The course had been lengthened a lot from last year and the conditions were playing quite tough. It was windy and rainy, so the first couple of days proved to be very difficult scoring, but I was happy to be playing on Sunday. It was much calmer conditions and I guess you could say I made the most of it, moving up the leaderboard 20 odd spots with 71 to finish T18. I wasn t too disappointed as a few things I have been working on seem to be coming together nicely. All a process! I sure enjoyed my time in Ireland! Now I&aposm back in London for a week off before the British Masters in Buckinghamshire! I have been very fortunate to receive a loan car from Guy Salmon dealership, a very nice Land Rover! I love it – never had so much space in a car! I thank them very much! I m loving the atmosphere around here (London) with the Olympics on and I even got to go to the gold medal match in the soccer (or football as they say here!!) What an experience that was! 90,000 passionate fans at Wembley Stadium can get pretty loud! So my week has just consisted of gym, practice and the Olympics! All lots of fun! Now I m ready for the British Masters at Buckinghamshire Golf Club- if you wish to follow online scoring go to www.ladieseuropeantour.com Good golfing!
