Angela Stanford carded a five-under 67 to take a two-stroke advantage at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Guadalajara on Friday. The American fired six birdies and one bogey in her second round for an 11-under total of 133 at the Guadalajara Country Club in Mexico. Stanford, who won the LPGA Tour event in 2008, made a strong start with five birdies on the opening 10 holes. She bogeyed the par-five 15th – which she birdied in the opening round – but recovered with a birdie on the following hole. Stanford leads from South Korean Inbee Park, who shot a second-round 68. Cristie Kerr is three shots off the lead after a 69, while fellow American Stacy Lewis (70), Taiwan&aposs Candie Kung (71) and South Korean So Yeon Ryu (70) are tied for fourth at seven under. Frenchwoman Karine Icher (71) and South Korea&aposs In Kyung Kim (70) are in equal seventh at six under, one stroke ahead of Australian Katherine Hull (71) and Hee Kyung Seo (69) of South Korea. Mexican Ochoa, hosting the tournament at the course where she learned to play, is in a tie for 19th at one under after a 72.
