Stars getting on the bus in Albury

They're queueing up to get on the Senior Open bus in Albury

THE NSW Senior Open is only a couple of months away, and interest in the event is rising around the region courtesy of a Lodges Bus Service Coach covered with images of the stars who will be playing in the 54 hole tournament which begins on November 2nd.

Ian Baker-Finch, the 1991 British Open Champion, is featured alongside Roger Davis, Peter O’Malley, Craig Parry and Peter Senior.

Dallas Lodge, the co-manager of Lodges bus company, was thrilled with the artwork.

“It’s the newest bus in our fleet, and it has come up pretty good we think.”

The bus, a Scania Coach Concepts, is used primarily as an NSW School bus and covers the Culcairn to Albury route. During the day though, it is used for charters and can be seen anywhere within a 200km radius of Albury.

Feedback from customers about the livery has been great according to Mr Lodge.

“We have had a few comments about the artwork, It’s all been positive, so it’s doing its job.”

“This is a big event for Albury, and we are pretty proud to be marketing the championship this way,” he said.
