Stewart, Kulacz make British Amateur quarter-finals

Good news for Australia once again at the British Amateur overnight with Tim Stewart and Rick Kulacz progressing to the quarter-finals. Kulacz overcame German Florian Fritsch 2&1 in the morning before beating Englishman Mark Kerr 3&1 in the round of 16. Stewart meanwhile defeated Ben Evans 3&1 before making his way to the quarter-finals via a 1up win over fancied Englishman Gary Boyd. Rohan Blizard and Andrew Dodt were not as fortunate, falling in the round of 16. Blizard was ousted 3&1 by former top ranked R&A player Jamie Moul while Dodt was defeated 5&4 by Frenchman Kenny Le Sager. The quarter and semi-finals begin this evening (AEST).
