Stewart wins Singapore Open Amateur

National Squad member Tim Stewart has won the Singapore Open Amateur by four strokes, giving him an automatic start at next week&aposs Barclays Singapore Open. The 22-year old posted rounds of 69 67 69 68 to finish on 15-under ahead of Thai Kiradech Aphibarnrat. While recently in Taiwan as part of Australia&aposs successful Nomura Cup team, Stewart told national coach, Peter Knight, that it was his goal to win this event which would consequently see him exempt into the prestigious Singapore Open.
