Stolz Joins NSW Open Golf Championship

Andre Stolz, ten-time tournament winner, and former US PGA Tour member has agreed to be part of the Golf NSW – Epicentre TV live stream video coverage team of the 2015 NSW Open Golf Championship at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club.

Stolz will bring his experience as a player and a multiple tournament winner as the expert on-course commentator at the Par-3 16th Hole during the final two rounds of the Open Championship.

“Andre has done it all on the golf course. He knows what’s going on inside the players’ minds,” says Stuart Fraser CEO of Golf NSW.

Stolz, who is on the Tournament Players Council of the PGA Tour of Australasia, will conduct interviews on course as players arrive at the tee, relaying club selection, wind strength and other factors the players will face.

“I'm very interested in the live stream aspect for golf coverage in Australia.” says Stolz.

“I think it’s the future for golf tournament coverage. Our tournaments can be broadcast anywhere in the world, that’s why I’ve come on board,”

Luke Campbell, Chief Operating Officer of Epicentre TV, believes Stolz will help make the live stream coverage a great broadcast.

"Andre’s intimate knowledge of the players and the course will provide viewers a previously unseen insight into the mindset of each golfer as they come to the closing stages of their rounds and take the broadcast to the next level,” says Mr Campbell.

The New South Wales Open Golf Championship will be held at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club from 12th to 15th November 2015. ENTRY IS FREE. For more information visit:
