Strong Senior Open field assembles

Ian Baker-Finch headlines a strong list of entrants for the inaugural NSW Senior Open at Thurgoona Country Club Resort this November.

Baker-Finch, the 1991 Open Champion, will be joined by the likes of Michael Harwood, Roger Davis, Peter O’Malley, Craig Parry and Peter Senior who have already confirmed for the 54 hole event which starts on November 2.

A number of renown international golfers are expected to compete, including America Scott Puzey, and Kiwis Martin Pettigrew, Davit Lavery, Bryce Mawhinney and Gary Watson.

Several of Australia’s leading senior amateur golfers are also expected to take part, including the reigning NSW Senior Amateur Champion Robert Payne of Duntryleague GC, Wayne Buick of Royal Canberra GC, Gordon Claney of Kingston Heath GC and Australian Senior Champion Kym Olsen of the National GC on the Mornington Peninsula.
