Australia’s Su Oh has continued her strong LPGA Tour season with a T13 finish at the BMW Ladies Championship in Busan, South Korea, not far from where she spent the first few years of her life.
Melburnian Oh, who emigrated with her parents when she was seven, played some of her best golf this week although she had a disappointing final round.
Starting out just two shots from the lead, 23-year-old Oh was reeled in quickly and ultimately struggled to a two-over par 74, leaving American Danielle Kang and Korean Hana Jang to contest a playoff for the victory.
Oh has earned more than $US500,000 this season with no wins but two second places, at the ISPS Handa Vic Open and the Meijer LPGA Classic. She will be among the top brack of players who contest the tour championship in Florida next month, along with Minjee Lee and Hannah Green.
Lee was a shot further back in a tie for 16th place in Busan, while Green closed strongly with a 69 to finish T38th.
AUSTRALIAN Stephanie Na is tied-78th after four rounds of the LPGA Tour school at Pinehurst in North Carolina. At two-over par, Na is just inside the cutline of 80 players that will be made after six rounds of the 144-hole marathon for tour cards in 2020.
