Tasmania Golf Club’s Mark Schulze will again Captain the team and will be ably assisted by Vice-Captain Nathan Gatehouse from Kingston Beach. Returning to the team in 2013 are Launceston s Greg Longmore, Tasmania Golf Club’s Richard Kube and Riverside s Andrew McCarthy. Longmore is making his return to National scene since ceasing a Professional career and regaining his amateur status in December of 2012. Kube last represented the Apple Isle in Queensland during 2010 while McCarthy will make his long awaited return to representative golf since 2005. Schulze s squad this year will also include the likes of Mowbray s John Cassidy, Tasmania s Andrew Phillips and Riverside s Samuel Rawlings. Prospect Vale Golf Club member Don Cameron will manage the team while Tasmania Golf Club Professional Nick White has been named Coach. The Australian Men’sInterstate Teams Matches will be conducted at the Tasmania Golf Club, Barilla Bay from April 30 to May 4. States plays each other over singles match play in a round robin format, concluding with a Final and each men&aposs teams consist of eight players. The Australian Men&aposs Interstate Teams Matches are Australia&aposs pinnacle Amateur Team Golf Championships and entry is free to spectators.
