Golf Tasmania will announce the selection of state teams to compete each year in the Australian Interstate Teams Matches following the completion of the relevant team's qualifying events.
This selection process will be undertaken by a panel consisting of the state team Coaches, the National High Performance Coach – Tasmania and other Golf Tasmania representatives.
The aim is to select the best players to represent the state at these tournaments. Selection, as per past years will be based on a set of criteria including participation and performance in the state averages events as key indicators.
Players not part of a Regional Development Squad are eligible for state team selection. Any player wishing to nominate for the state team is asked to complete a state team nomination form available from this website.
