Ted first to equal his age at Springwood CC

Ted Hobson from Springwood Country Club equalled his age with a scratch 72 last Thursday, 5th April at their Thursday competition. Ted is the current veteran club champion and a member of Springwood s Super Seniors Pennant Team who will be representing Springwood Country Club in the NSW Master Pennants commencing late April. He recorded 2 holes in one in the last 3 years. However, he had always wanted to equal or better his age and in doing so last week he feels extremely proud, in particular being the first member to do so. The 100+ year old Springwood Country Club is the first and one of the friendliest golf clubs in the beautiful Blue Mountains. With a challenging undulating par 69 course, fantastic climate and friendly members, Ted says it is a great club to play golf at and socialise with friends afterwards. Congratulations Ted!
