With the weather gods turning on a beautiful sunny Melbourne day the conditions were perfect for the 2013 Golf Victoria Junior Pennant final. All players were eager to compete and excited at the chance to win their club a pennant flag and the title of 2013 champions. Both teams have displayed fine golf and great sportsmanship over the entire season and should be congratulated for reaching the final. With both teams siding quite young squads it was fantastic to see the future of golf in Victoria and the talent that could one day be competing with the best players in the world.
The final was played today around the pristine Metropolitan Golf Course with the end results going the way of the Heritage side. Well done to both Heritage and Waverley for making the final, and congratulations to Heritage for taking the win.
