Three-way tie at boys’ #AusJnr teams

Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia are locked at the top of the leaderboard after day one of the Boys #AusJnr Interstate Teams Matches at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, New South Wales.

All three teams won their two contests on day one, WA defeated the ACT 3 1/2 – 1 1/2 in the morning then followed it up with another 4-1 result over the Northern Territory in the afternoon match-up.

Victoria defeated South Australia 4-1 in the morning and then whitewashed Tasmania by 5 -nil in the afternoon.

The Queensland boys beat Tasmania in the morning and followed up with a 4-1 victory over SA in the afternoon.

In an upset result this afternoon, the ACT defeated 2016 co-champions, NSW 3 matches to 2.
 
NSW sits in 4th position, followed by the ACT, Northern Territory, South Australia and the Tasmania.

Rounds three and four will be contested tomorrow.
