Thrilling finale to participation events

Women from six states marked the Australia Day Weekend by battling it out at Kingston Heath Golf Club in Victoria to compete for their ultimate dream an all expenses paid trip to play in the Peugeot International Pro AM in Paris. Congratulations to the ladies from The Cut in Western Australia who won the event on 86 points from Kooyonga Golf Club, South Australia on 81. Yasmin Steele, Joan Morgan and Hean Whale will now pack their bags and head to Paris to represent Australia in the Peugeot International Pro AM. Golf Australia and Peugeot wish the ladies the best of luck and thanks everyone who participated to make the Peugeot Women&aposs Classic a great success. Click here for a full report The Fisher & Paykel Classic reached an exciting climax in the same week with Claudia Marazita of Riverside Golf Club in Victoria claiming the title. With a handicap of 20, Claudia posted an impressive final score of 76 points over the two rounds, a score made even more impressive by the fact that Claudia is only 12 years old! Congratulations also to runner up, Tammy Hall from the Launceston Golf Club in Tasmania. With a handicap of three, Tammy finished with an overall score of 74 points after an impressive second round at Victoria Golf Club. Click here for a full report
