Tiger Woods has surged up to fourth in the official world golf rankings after his memorable victory at The Memorial Tournament on Sunday. Woods equalled Jack Nicklaus&apos record of 73 PGA Tour titles with a superb win in Ohio. The American shot three birdies from his final four holes, including a sublime chip from the rough on the 16th, to complete a two-shot victory. The 36-year-old also won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March and appears in good form ahead of the U.S. Open later this month. Woods was ninth before his victory but despite his big climb, he remains a long way behind the top three. Englishman Luke Donald remains on top of the rankings, with Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy in second. Another English player, Lee Westwood, sits third, while American Bubba Watson follows Woods in fifth. American Matt Kuchar, Englishman Justin Rose, American duo Hunter Mahan and Jason Dufner and German Martin Kaymer round out the top 10.
