Tom and Jazy share top spot

Tom and Jazy Roberts have taken out the Pitch n Putt honours for term three. This isn’t the first time the brother and sister combination have won the boys and girls titles with the pair have their name etched on the trophy together late last year. Tom fired a round of 56 for victory while Jazy carded a 58 to notch up her 10th victory in the Pitch n Putt event. The win by Jazy sees her overtake the longstanding girls record set by Nasya Sohail who won the event nine times.

Jack Wilson went back-to-back in the under 8 boys holding trophy aloft with a round of 67. A count-back couldn’t separate the under 12 boys section with Eric Li and Angus Macintosh sharing top honours with 63. Little brother William Li was too strong in the under 10 boys after carding a round of 63. Ben Powell finished on top of the under 14 boys leaderboard with a round of 59.

Melanie Dissanayke was too good in the under 10 girls finishing with 68 while Ashlee Robinson was awarded the nett prize with a score of 59. Sophie Mann continues to dominate with yet another win in the under 12 girls while Taylah Robinson walked home victorious in the under 16 girls nett with 53.

Congratulations to all of the age division and NTP winners! The next Rookie event at the Pitch n Putt will be on Friday 5 October..
