Like yesterday, players needed to compete against the cold wind that swept across the beautiful Victoria Golf Club today. Tony Hyde (Rossdale) was the only player in a field of 75 players that took to the course today to break 80, shooting 75 in tough conditions to win the Victoria GC Senior Amateur. Barry Tippett has claimed his third trophy in just four starts over the past week with a round of 80 to finish in second, five shots behind Hyde. The nett section saw local member Bill Simpson claim the honors with 73 nett, and Bruno Pase (Rosnay) finish outright second on 74 nett.
