er one ranked Australian Amateur Todd Sinnott will join the top professional golfers including Adam Scott to play in the Australian Masters at Metropolitan Golf Club from November 20-23.
Todd received an email from IMG director of golf David Rollo on Tuesday evening with the news and he was thrilled to be asked to join the star-studded field.
This year the Metropolitan Golf Club Member has spent nearly two months in the UK and the USA playing the world's best amateur events. He has played the Australian Masters before at Kingston Heath two years ago and missed the cut, but is determined this year will be different. Has also lined up against the pros in the Victorian Open and PGA and the Queensland PGA.
Earlier this year he won the final and crucial match at the Golf Australia Interstate Series to give the Victorian men's state team a victory over NSW for the first time since 2009. He has also won the prestigious 2012 Portsea Open Amateur, the 2011 Dunes Medal and was the 2009 Victorian Boys Champion.
