Top juniors ready for Greg Norman Junior Masters

The country’s leading junior golfers will converge on the Palmer Colonial and Palmer Gold Coast Golf Clubs this weekend for the annual Greg Norman Junior Masters.

Hosted by Golf Queensland, the invitation-only event is recognised as one of the premier junior tournaments in Australasia attracting a field of more than 192 competitors.

“The Greg Norman Junior Masters boasts a past winner’s list featuring players including Karrie Webb, Adam Scott and Cameron Smith,” said Golf Queensland’s CEO Lindsay Ellis.

“The name Greg Norman is synonymous with golf in Australia. Many of our young golfers are now likely to follow the likes of Jason Day and Adam Scott but Greg Norman paved the way for Australian golf.

“We expect to see some very competitive golf during the four-day tournament but encourage families to also simply enjoy their time on the Gold Coast.”

Mr Ellis also thanked Palmer Golf Australia for its continued involvement and contribution in the Greg Norman Junior Masters.

PGA Immortal Charlie Earp and first time US PGA tour winner and Australian PGA Champion, Cameron Smith will attend the official opening of the event on Sunday at Palmer Colonial Golf Club.

The Greg Norman Junior Masters is proudly sponsored by Palmer Golf Australia, Titleist Fayde Golf.
