Newcastle Professional Aaron Townsend will return to the Japanese Tour in 2016 after progressing through the final stage of Japanese Q-School.
The 2008 NSW Open Champion carded a final round 3-under par 69 to finish the marathon six-round qualifying tournament in 9th place, with a combined score of 13-under par 419.
Narrabri’s Matthew Steiger unfortunately missed out on one of the coveted 35 cards available. His final round even-par 72 left him two shots adrift of the mark with a six round score of 6-under par 426.
