Concord’s Ken Brewer has given himself a great chance of snatching the NSW Senior Amateur crown after making the most of the tough, windy conditions by posting an even par 35 front nine here at Nambucca Heads.
Brewer is now only a shot behind overnight leader Lester Peterson, who bogeyed the ninth, for a two over par 37.
Stonecutters Ridge Matt Taylor has turned in one over par 36, and now sits three behind.
Other scores of note include, Victoria’s Gordon Claney who is three over for the day, John Rixon of Lismore is two over, and Southport’s Brad Dowling is four over.

The leaders have hit off in the final round of the 2018 NSW Senior Amateur at Nambucca Heads.
Bardwell Valley's Lester Peterson is in the box seat with a comfortable four shot lead. Concord's Ken Brewer, and Stonecutter's Matt Taylor are playing alongside Peterson and the group are sure to provide plenty of excitement.

MORNING REPORT: 7.00am
Torrential rain overnight has delayed the start of the final round of the NSW Senior Amateur at Nambucca Heads.
Officals were left with little option but to delay play with rain still falling at 6.30am this morning.
A decision on when play will resume will be made at 8.00am.
