S GIRLS' JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP – Sycamore Hills Golf Club, Fort Wayne, Indiana
Defending champion and National Squad member Minjee Lee and fellow Western Australian Hannah Green both bowed out of the running in the Round of 16 at the US Girls' Junior Championship in Indiana.
Lee defeated California's Jennifer Peng 4&3 in the Round of 32 but lost on the 19th hole to Californian Casie Cathrea.
Green defeated California's Sarah Cho 1up in the Round of 32 but was well beaten by Florida's Yueer Feng 5&4 in the Round of 16.
US JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP – Martis Camp Club, Truckee, California
Victorian junior Ryan Ruffels also had his US Junior Amateur campaign ended overnight on Thursday.
Ruffels lost 3&2 to China's Zecheng Dou in the Round of 32 to end the Australian charge.
