Richardson sits one stroke behind leader James White (Georgia) at 5-under. National Squad member Bryden Macpherson fired a 2-under par 70 to be in a tie for fourth place. AIS Squad member Jordan Sherratt is a shot behind Macpherson after his opening 1-under 71. WA&aposs Jason Scrivener fired a 2-over 74 for a share of 25th place while National Squad members Kieran Pratt (VIC) and Ryan McCarthy (TAS) shared 40th place with Brendan Smith (NSW) at 3-over par. Victorians Luke Bleumink and Daniel Beckmann finished at 4-over and 7-over respectively.
