Vale – Annette Learmonth

The President, Board and Staff of Golf Victoria express their deepest sympathy at the passing of Mrs. Annette Learmonth, aged 68 years.

Annette was very active in golf having served as a Women’s Golf Victoria (WGV) District Delegate from 2010-2011. Upon the formation of Golf Victoria in November 2010, Annette was a member of the Consultative Committee (until 2013) and the Member Services Committee (until 2014).

She was heavily involved in the Women’s Golf Western District from 2006 to 2009 as Secretary and was the inaugural President of the Western District Golf Association following amalgamation with the Corangamite Men’s District in 2015, resigning earlier this year.

A long-time member of the Port Fairy Golf Club, Annette will be fondly remembered as a person of incredible character, commitment and passion for the progression of women's golf, particularly in country Victoria.

Golf Victoria’s sincere condolences are extended to husband Roger, daughters Jane, Deborah and Stacey and the Learmonth family at this time. Annette Learmonth was a wonderful person who loved the game of golf and will be sadly missed.
