The President, Board and Staff of Golf Victoria express their deepest sympathy at the passing of Mrs. Jocelyn (Jocey) O’Rourke aged 79 years.
Jocey was very active in golf having served as a Women’s Golf Victoria (WGV) District Delegate prior to being Country Vice-President from 2000 – 2006 She was heavily involved in Bendigo women’s golf and in 2000 was made a Life Member of the Women’s Golf Bendigo District (now Golf Central Victoria).
A long-time member of the Kyneton Golf Club and 25-time women's club champion, Jocey will be fondly remembered as a person of incredible character, commitment and passion for the progression of women's golf, particularly in country Victoria.
Golf Victoria’s sincere condolences are extended to her children Kelly and Brent and the O’Rourke family at this time. Jocey was a wonderful person who loved the game of golf and will be sadly missed.
