Vale: Kay Dymond – Golf NSW

It is with deep sadness that we share with our members that Kay Dymond passed away recently.

Kay took up golf in the late 80's and joined Antill Park Golf Club.  She quickly became a very keen golfer and represented the club in pennants. She also served as Lady President.  In later years she also played at Moss Vale Golf Club and became a very popular member there.

From 1998 to 2001 Kay served as President of the Nepean-Illawarra District Ladies Golf Association and from 2000 to 2006 she was the District Councillor on Womens' Golf NSW (WGNSW) for Nepean-Illawarra.She served on the WGNSW Match and Course Rating Committees for a number of years.

When her husband retired about five years ago, they moved to sunny Queensland and she continued her golf there. Kay will be sadly missed by her many friends throughout the golfing community.

A memorial service will be held for Kay on Tuesday 5th May at the Uniting Church, Lumsdaine Street, Picton at 10.30am.
