The President, Board and Staff of Golf Victoria express their deepest sympathy at the passing of Mr. Mark Wade.
A long-time member of the Commonwealth Golf Club, Mark had a much appreciated and long association with Golf Victoria as a State Level Referee and keen competitor in a range of State level golf events including the Open Heart Open.
He particularly enjoyed assisting with rules duties at the Victorian Open and discussing rules issues and golf history with fellow State Referees.
A celebration of the life of Mark Harington Wade will be held at the Commonwealth Golf Club, Glennie Avenue, South Oakleigh on Wednesday 12 December at 2:30pm.
In Mark’s memory those attending are requested to please wear a touch of colour. A private cremation will follow.
Golf Victoria’s sincere condolences are extended to Mark’s wife Geraldine and sons James and Michael at this time. Mark had a wonderful passion for life and golf and will be sadly missed.
