The President, Board and Staff of Golf Victoria express their deepest sympathy at the passing of well respected former Wimmera District Golf Association President Mr. Russell Hemphill.
Russell passed away on December 20, aged 79 years. Golf Victoria’s deepest sympathies are extended to the Hemphill family – wife Val; children Peter, Rodney and Stephen and grandchildren.
Russell was a passionate golfer who worked tirelessly over many years to promote the sport in Western Victoria. Golf Victoria records its thanks and appreciation for his dedication to the game.
